If you have a kid who would lose their mind over a tarantula, Saturday is their day. Hokie BugFest 2026 runs 10am-3pm at Squires Student Center on the Virginia Tech campus, and it is completely free. The Hokie BugZoo brings live arthropods, more than 30 exhibitors set up hands-on STEM activities, the 4-H Insect Collection Contest crowns its winners, and the Bug Carnival rounds out the day.
